The Family would like to thank all friends / pupils past and present for all the help that has been given over the years to Gloria and especially John after Gloria passed. They were extremely gateful as are we. A special thanks go to Christine Allen for years of unconditional help also to Dean Taylor and Danny Mahoney for all they have done too.
The Funeral is going to be at the Crematorium (The Ridge, Hastings) on Thursday 9th February 2012 at 10.15am. There will be a wake after the funeral at Azur (Marina, St Leonards) and we would like to invite all who knew him. We have hired the ballroom there, so if you would like to give John a send off with a dance, then please bring your dance shoes with you.

About us!
The club was formed by John & Gloria Yerou and has been active in Hastings since 1978 teaching Ballroom and Latin American dancing to all age groups. There are weekly classes at all levels from beginners to gold medallists and monthly social dances where you can practise your skills.
Following a distinguished career in competition dancing John Yerou qualified with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing Examinations Board in 1978 and with the National Association of Teachers of Dancing. As well as being a Fellow of the ISTD (BB), a Member of the NATD (BB,LA) and a Fellow of the UK Alliance (BB,LA), he is a regular International Championship Adjudicator.
Locally he teaches pupils from complete beginners to competition standard in both Ballroom and Latin American; over the years his dancers have won over 37 championships. So whatever your aspirations you are assured of a warm welcome and tuition tailored to your needs.
Classes!
ADULTS - Classes are held at Concordia Hall every Friday except for August when the school is closed.
CHILDREN - Classes are held at St Mary Star of the Sea School every Thursday except for August when the school is closed.
Social Dances!
Social dances are held at Concordia Hall on the third Saturday of every month except August when the school is closed. Dances begin at 8:00pm and finish at 10:30pm. All are welcome! Bring your own nibbles and drinks. Tea is served to those who require it.
